WELCOME TO 27 PRODUCTIONS
27 PRODUCTIONS is a New York based Independent Music Production Company specializing in the production, digital distribution and promotion of works by singer-songwriters.
27 Productions was created in 2003 to release 2 records and a music video from Blake Ian. Although ''The Basement Waves'' was released in 2003 and ''Alchemist'' in 2005, the records were being made simultaneously, along with the music video for "A Little More" the second track on ''Alchemist''.
Ian's debut record "The Blake Ian Theory" (2000) was also officially re-released by 27 Productions.
In 2008, 27 productions released the debut EP of ambient-folk-rocker Casella, the songs of Chris Kearney, produced and co-written by Ian.
In 2010, 27 Productions released Play the King, Searching for Bob Dylan, and Cold Outside. These singles were the first in a series from Ian, featuring collaborations with renowned artists, industry recognized producers and accomplished musicians.
2011 has just begun and it is already promising to be one of the most productive years for 27 Productions, with the additions to the roster of:
Shock Radar, the brainchild of experimental rock prodigy Lee Diamond
Jake Incao, a long Island singer/songwriter and stellar performer on a meteoric rise.
Calotype, the solo work of Larry Hess, the front man of NYC's Hunters, Run!.
The 27 family has grown to become a powerful group of 5 NY singer-songwriters with a mountain of material that varies from each artist in style, production and personality!
In 2011 there will be mulitple new singles released from each of the 4 artists beginning with the long anticipated "Miles Away" from Jake Incao, and Shock Radar's "Millionaire" both available now!
Also on the way are new singles from Casella, Calotype and Ian!
