Blake Ian - DESIRE

Singer-songwriter Blake Ian reemerges with the release of his latest single, “Desire”, a poignant reflection on the perils of succumbing to base impulses at the expense of one’s well-being and principles. Sung from the perspective of a partner grappling with the consequences of their actions, the song strikes a chord with its raw honesty and emotional depth.

Delving into the ramifications of yielding to passion and primal urges at the expense of one’s values. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a pen, Ian’s moving lyrics resonate with real-life romance. Set against haunting lyrics of regret, the upbeat production and arrangement are reminiscent of Paul Simon’s Graceland, Vampire Weekend, Fleetwood Mac and Talking Heads. 

“Desire” is the result of a massive collaboration with other artists from industry legends to up-and-coming indie musicians.
